To delete the entire chart, follow these steps:

1.Select the chart.

2.Delete it in one of the following ways:

•On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click  Delete.

•Right-click the chart and select Delete chart from the context menu.

•When working in Windows or Linux OS, press Delete or Backspace. When working in macOS, press Delete.

To delete a chart element, do the following:

1.Select the chart.

2.Double left-click in the chart area to switch to the chart editing mode.

3.Delete it in one of the following ways:

•Select the chart element by left-clicking it and, on the Home tab, in the Edit group click  Delete.

•Right-click the chart element and run the Delete <Element Name> command from the context menu.
